Geog 12: Completed the Rivers PPT   .    3.1 Rivers

Chem 11:  Wrote the Ch 3 Test.

Chem 12:  Took up q52-66 p71-72.   Assigned to read p73-78 and to do q1-17 p74-79

Sci 9:  Discussed the formation of compounds using the Bohr Head Atoms.  Gave notes on writing formulas for compounds and naming compounds.  Assigned ques 1 parts a-e on p86 and ques 1 part a-f on p87.

Physics 11: Took up q 10-18.  Assigned q 18-27 p450-451.

Physics 12: Took up Dynamics Lessons 2-3 in Mathewson.  Assigned Lesson 4 in Dynamics unit in Mathewson.

Bible 10-12: Wrote quiz on Ch 7-8.  Discussed the PPT 10 on Human Evolution.

Foods 9: Prepared Sloppy Joes

Math 12: Discussed Lesson 6 of Trig Part 2.  Took up homework questions on Lesson 5.

Geog 12: Took up the Tectonics Test.  Continued with the Rivers PPT  4.1 Rivers Complete and completing  the worksheet  3.1 Rivers .

Chem 11: Took up the Ch 2 Test Chapters 1-2 With Answers .  Discussed the Mole PPT  4.1 The Mole .    Assigned q 4-6 p104.

Chem 12: Continued working on the assigned questions 47-66 p70-72.  Assigned a test on Unit 2 for Tues Nov 4.

Sci 9: Assigned Review 2.3  2.3 Review of Ch 2.3 to finish for Thursday Oct 30.

Physics 11: Reviewed the test on waves.  Did an activity with mirrors showing the laws of reflection.  Assigned q10-18 p449-450.

Physics 12: Gave back Kinetics Test with answers for students to review on their own.  Assigned Lessons 2-3 in the spiral book with all the end of lesson questions.

Bible 10-12: Discussed the answers to the ch 8 questions 8.1 Chapter 8 Questions With Answers .  Assigned a quiz on ch 7-8 for Wednesday Oct 29.  Answers to ch 7 questions :   7.1 Chapter 7 Questions With Answers   7.1 Chapter 7 Questions With Answers Complete .   Discussed the PPT on Ch 9 9.1 Evidence for Plant and Animal Evolution  .   Assigned the first half of the questions on ch 9 9.1 Chapter 9 Questions .   I am posting a copy of the rubric for your final report Rubric for Final Project on Origins    or final PPT  .   Check this example  How did everything get here-Megan of a final PPT done by a former student   .

Foods 9:  Discussed the PPT on Good Nutrition   Guidelines for Good Nutrition and filled in the worksheet  Good Nutrition Workshet .

Math 12: Took up questions in lesson 4 of Trip part 2.   Discussed Lesson 5 of trig part 2.  Assigned all problems for lesson 5 Trig part 2.

Geog 12: Completed the Worksheet 2.1 Gradation Last Note Sheet  and the PPT  3.1 Gradation Complete on Gradation   .  Started the  Worksheet  3.1 Rivers and the PPT on Rivers  4.1 Rivers .

Chem 11:  Most Students gone to athletic event.  No Assignment.   Test assigned for Thusday Oct 30 on Ch 3.

Chem 12: Work on Questions 36-46 p6263 and Ques 47-66 p 70-72.

Sci 9: Worked on Bohr head atom project.   Many students gone on athletic event.

Chem 11: Wrote a test on Ch 2.  Assigned to read p95-104, q 1-3 p104.   Assigned a test for Oct 30 on Ch 3.  Collected labs on the Cooling of PDB.

Chem 12: Collected labs on Equilibrium.  Discussed calculations with the Keq.  Assigned q36-46 p 62-63 and q47-66 p70-72 for Tuesday Oct 28.  Assigned a test on Equilibrium Unit 2 for Nov 4.

Sci 9: Checked and Discussed Review 2.2.  Worked on the Bohr Atom Head Project.  Assigned a Quiz on drawing Bohr Atoms for Fri Oct 24.

Math 12: Discussed Lesson 4 in Trig Part 2.  All Questions assigned in Lesson 4.

Geography 12: Reviewed the Sample Provincial Questions as a review for the Test on Thursday Oct 23 Sample Provincial Exam Questions  .   Reviewed nearly half of the Vocabulary for the Tectonics Unit in preparation for Thursday’s Test.

Chem 11: Assignesd to read p84-90.  Assigned q 1-3 p88 and q1-3 p89.   Worked on lab report.  Reminded of Test Thus Oct 23.

Chem 12: Assigned q 29,30 p56 and q31-35 in Equilibrium Unit II due Oct 23 with Equilibrium Lab Report.

Sci 9: Practiced making Bohr diagrams for atoms and ions.  Took a quiz, averaging marks with partners.

Physics 11:  Reviewed Questions 31-37 p376-377, due on Mon Oct 27.  Discussed the PPT on Speed of Light and the Pinhole Camera 3.1 The Speed of Light and Pinhole Camera  .  Assigned q 1-9 p448-449.  Reminded of test on Wed Oct 22.

Physics 12: Assigned Lesson 2 in the Spiral workbook with q1-14 p87-88, due onm Mon Oct 27.  Reminded of test on Wed on Kinematics and Projectiles.

Bible 10-12: Reviewed the Quiz on Ch 5-6 Quiz on Ch 5-6 With Answers  .  Discussed the PPT on Evolution Ch 8 8.1 Evolution  .    No assignment yet.

Physics 11: Took up questions from 21-30 Chapter 18 Answers to Chapter Questions .  Discussed the PPT on Intro to Waves, the Interference Section.  Assigned Q31-37 on p376-377.  Assigned a test for Wednesday Oct 22.

Physics 12: Assigned Lesson 1 of Force, p75 and all the questions at end of Lesson 1.  Assigned a test on Kinetics from Lesson 1 of kinetics through the Projectiles section for Wednesday Oct 22.  The Force and Dynamics material is NOT on the test.

Bible 10-12: Wrote a quiz on Ch 5-6.  Discussed the PPT on Ch 7.  Assigned to complete the Ch 7 questions by Monday Oct 20.

Foods 9: Prepared Zucchini Stew Sidedish

Math 12: Wrote a test on Trig Unit 1, Lessons 1-10.  No new homework but have Lesson 2 of Unit 2 completed by Monday Oct 20.
